We are delighted to be showcasing the LISA REDMAN collection in the beautiful, candlelit atmosphere of the church, to raise funds for the transformation of St Mary Abbots, Kensington.
Timed to coincide with the eve of London Fashion Week, the show will feature professional level production values. We are also blessed with the support of Errol Douglas MBE who will be styling the hair of our professional models, including Amber Le Bon.
Guests will be seated in the church pews and using the, cathedral scale, church aisles as our catwalk. The show’s Front Row will be in the exclusive carved wooden choir stalls at the head of the catwalk, seating 30, in front of the gold mosaic High Altar. Photographers will be capturing the evening (front of house and backstage) and there will also be an auction of ‘money can’t buy’ prizes after the show.
Lisa Redman, designer, commented “I have a real personal connection with the building and I often retreat to it when I need to think and allow myself to be creative. I’m thrilled the church has been so open to the idea of showing my pieces; it helps that my style is very feminine, it’s old fashioned glamour with a modern British twist, so I have nothing risqué! By showing here, I want as many people as possible to share what I feel when I’m in St Mary Abbots Church and I hope it will raise funds to help it become even more accessible and welcoming.”
Ticket prices are £100 and include champagne and canapés. The exclusive ‘Front Row’ package is £150 with premium seating, a goody bag and express entry.
Tickets can be purchased here.
